THE PROJECT
The project "They say..." was a youth project supported by the Visegrad fund and involved 21 young people from the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia and their leaders.
TOPIC
The main topics we were dealing with were media literacy and fake news.
VENUES
Chata Hrádek in a beautiful surroundings of the Beskydy mountains hosted us in November and in December we met in Bojnice in Slovakia.
PARTICIPANTS
21 young people aged 14-18 together with their leaders took part part in the project.
ACTIVITIES
We focused on media situation in the partner countries, fake news that appear in society and learned how to do fact checking and fight against fake news.
EVENTS
The project included a 5-day meeting in Hrádek and a 2-day dissemination meeting in Bojnice.
FINANCE
This project has been financially supported by a grant from Visegrad fund. This allowed us to meet personally and work together on the project tasks.
